“What needs to be done after signing this Memorandum of Understanding? We simply need to go ahead and get to work so that the figures better reflect everything we have agreed upon,” said Slovenia’s Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Tone Kajzer, during a joint press conference with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.

“This is the first such visit since 2010 in which we have been accompanied by a business delegation. This is very important and reflects our commitment to translating good political relations into concrete economic opportunities.

I am extremely pleased that today we will be attending a business forum bringing together Slovenian and Armenian companies. We view this forum as the beginning of a more ambitious economic partnership. Our message today is clear: political friendship must be translated into concrete opportunities for our businesses and our peoples,” Tone Kajzer noted.

It should be recalled that, as reported earlier, Armenia and Slovenia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
